September 2004  - Lucent DDM-2000, AFC UMC1000 and Nortel Transport Node OC3/12/48 Monitoring Interface

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC announces it has recently completed three TrapServer monitoring interfaces for the Lucent DDM-2000, AFC1000 and Nortel Transport Node OC3/12/48 using TL-1. TrapServer communicates TL-1 to these DDM fiber devices using X.25 over a serial connection and communicates to the AFC UMC and Transport Node using TL-1 over TCP/IP. TrapServer connects to one gateway device within the fiber network and has visibility to all fiber equipment within the connected ring or link. Through the gateway device, TrapServer logs in and monitors the other fiber products. Reported events are forwarded to event viewer with priority, history with multi-color event priority. TrapServer optionally will notify on-call via alphanumeric page and email. TrapServer’s notification manager is scheduled on time of day and day of week basis over a 3-month rotating calendar.

September 2004  - Tucson Electric Awards Contract

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC announces it has supplied TrapServer in conjunction with Badger Alarm and Control, LLC to Tucson Electric to consolidate alarm management from Alcatel TSM-2500 EMS, Badger 2000 EMS and DDM-2000 SONET system. The new system includes TrapServer to provide Views of Events in multi-color text based on alarm priorities.

Tucson Electric uses it’s microwave system and SONET network to provide communications for control of power throughout the state.

June 2004 - Orange County Florida Awards Contract

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC announces it has supplied TrapServer in conjunction with Badger Alarm and Control, LLC to replace Orange County – Florida’s aging microwave management system. The new system includes TrapServer to provide browser (WEB) views of alarm activity (from the BadgerAC NetManager and other devices) accessible from any PC connected to the Orange County’s Intranet and to provide scheduled email/paging notification upon occurrence of service affecting events. NetManager to interrogate and report alarms from existing Badger 481 Remote Terminals.

Orange County – Florida uses it’s extensive microwave system to provide internal communications throughout the county for local agencies within the county.

May 2004 - Badger Alarm and Control, LLC e500 User Interface

choRen NMS Solutions, LLC has delivered the User Interface for the e500 Remote Monitoring Unit (RMU). The e500 RMU is a single rack space unit consisting of two Ethernet ports, which provides monitoring of Contact Closures, Multiple Analog Thresholds and Control Output, and reports detected events using SNMP to a fault alarm manager. The User Interface allows the user to configure alarm/event information with point names, debounce timers, threshold criteria, event views, etc… using its html interface. Each e500 RMU contains an imbedded Linux and browser-based user interface.

April 2004 - Badger 2000 ASCII Alarm Monitoring Interface

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC releases Badger 2000 Monitoring Interface which enables fault alarm from Larse and Badger Alarm and Control, LLC Remote Terminal Units. Additionally, TrapServer feature “Craft Access” enables the user to connect to the text port of the Badger 2000 for reports, Badger 2000 Administration and Execution of System Controls.

Badger 2000 joins the Badger NetManager, Badger MiniMaster and Badger 481 RTU with a TrapServer Monitoring Interface.

March 2004 - Alcatel TSM-2500 ASCII Alarm Monitoring Interface

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC releases the Alcatel TSM-2500 Monitoring Interface. Application provides consolidation of data from multiple network elements, streamlining the operations within the NOC. The TSM-2500 uses MSC-11 proprietary protocol to monitor Alcatel Microwave Radios.

January 2004 - Union Pacific Railroad awards Monitoring Contract

SchoRen NMS Solutions, LLC in conjunction with Badger Alarm and Control, LLC announces it has been awarded and has shipped the Upgrade Contract from Union Pacific Rail Road to replace their aging management system. The new system TrapServer to monitor the Badger NetManager system, which consists of more than 700 remote sites of Badger 481 and Badger LarScan Remote Terminals Units and then forward events to the enterprise manager within UPRR. The system monitors the UPRRs extensive microwave system, which ranges from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

Also UPRRs selection criteria included the ability to monitor the new Badger AC e500 Remote Monitoring Unit. The e500 RMU provides Contact Closure and Analog Monitoring reporting using SNMP over two Ethernet ports and will be monitored by TrapServer.

TrapServer™ provides a gateway into an SNMP Managed environment and manages all other devices using
 SNMP and ASCII and Tl-1. The NOC then has a common interface and database for all the equipment
