Western State adds redundancy to its TrapServer Monitoring Network

A Western US State has added a second TrapServer to monitor their extensive microwave network, provide redundancy to the existing TrapServer and replacing their Badger NetManager. In this system, by replacing the Badger NetManager TrapServer will poll the States existing Badger 481 Remote Terminal Units using a combination of existing VF and 6 kHz channels up and down the state.

TrapServer will also receive alarms from other intelligent systems such as the Badger E500 Remote Monitoring Unit (RMU), DPS Telemon NetGuardian Remote Units, Valere Power system and Adtran 3205 Access Router.

The State provides services to all the state emergency departments including the CHP and Office of Emergency Services.
